Thanks for visiting the post, Feng Lan! The objects in the painting and listed to show the process of doing this piece have been with me and in my family for many years. Each of them has a story related to my travel to China, my son, my husband and a professor of mine. I picked the incense burner when I selected items to do this painting entitled as Memorabilia. It fits the idea of the title word. The Yin-Yang image on the Burner may have more to do with my whim than the philosophy of Daoism -:)
