Two friends of mine have bought their flats in two different residential areas. They invited me to visit their new homes. One is near the sea and the other is at the foot of hills. Natural beauty is the unique character which please my friends a lot. Further more, both of their residential areas happen to have attractive names as well. How lucky they are! As my thanks to them for their kind invitation for visiting,I compiled two poems to express my admiration and congratulation.
You are guessed to feel like also to possess a flat in a building or a house surrounded by green trees and flowers,with birds singing by day or waves roaring by night to be sensed. May I share the two poems with you ? If Yes, here you are:
“海语山林” （注：一位朋友的住宅小区名 ）
海迷彩霞傍日边，语自惊涛浪推连，
山壮海势巍峨立，林戏风雨榕树前。
Sea Rolling in Front of the Hill Forest
-The name of a residential area of one friend
The sea is fascinating at colorful clouds around the sun,
The roaring sound comes from continuous rolling waves,
The hill rock stands proud to strengthen the sea power,
The forest is teasing wind and rain by branches of banyan tree.
“云山栖居” （注：另一位朋友的住宅小区名 ）
云雾缭绕雨生烟，山峦叠翠清风缓，
栖鸟鸣娃谐趣奏，居士俯观池荷绽。
Yunshanxi Dwelling

Clouds are floating with raising rain smoke ,
Green mountain pinnacle breeze blows gently,
Birds and frogs are singing in harmonic rhythm,
Inhabited man is enjoying the pool lotus blooming.
The photos have added a lot more to your post, Feng Lan. It would be even better if you change the title to make it as poetic :-).
This blog looks great, Feng Lan. It shows that you understood very well what our website is meant to collect and publish to our audiences — our classmates in distance and potentially their family members in the future. It is your personal experience, including your interaction with and interpretation of an event. Although your friends and their houses were the subjects of the post, I heard your voice clearly and sensed you as the narrator of the event. I loved the Chinese poems.
It would be better if you revise its title that should suggest the point of your blog (I had to use a fake title to make the link work) and upload the two pictures you planned for it.
